The Fonda-Fultonville Central School District Board of Education has scheduled a special meeting on Tuesday, May 4 at 4:30 p.m. The meeting is to interview potential elementary school principal candidates. The proposed budget prioritizes rigorous academic programs, supports for student mental health and social/emotional learning, and returns extracurricular, athletics and arts programs
FFCS has an unused snow day that will be “given back” on Friday, May 28. FFCS will be closed for students and staff that day. This means students and staff will have a four-day weekend from May 28-31 (Memorial Day), and school will resume on Tuesday, June 1.
FFCS is holding a food drive to support the backpack program for students in need. The district provides backpacks filled with food to help meet the needs of children on weekends, when other resources such as school meals are not available.
