Today, FFMS students received a special treat by welcoming Canadian American author Gordon Korman as part of a ‘virtual’ storytelling presentation. Students ranging from fifth grade to eighth grade received a front row opportunity to hear about Mr. Korman’s career and learn about the key aspects of writing. This event was especially meaningful as students in each grade level had the opportunity to read one of Mr. Korman’s books with their classmates during the fall semester, as well as having the opportunity to select one of his books for independent reading. A few students were even selected to participate in a Q&A session with the author.

Who is Mr. Korman?

Mr. Korman is responsible for selling more than 28 million books over the past four decades. His work primarily centers on children’s and young adult fiction. Fun fact about Mr. Korman?
