Dear FFMS families and students,
We have exciting news! This week, the first in a series of mini videos aimed at increasing students reading at home will premiere on the district’s YouTube page. The newly launched series is called Middle Reading Matters. Sharon Kline and Danielle Hinrichs have partnered to create short weekly videos for families to utilize in supporting middle schoolers’ at-home reading experiences.
The first video will be posted on Tuesday, February 8 and can be accessed using the following link here. Each week, a new video will be shared to this page. This special video series is a nice opportunity to engage with your student(s) to encourage the benefits of reading, while spending quality time building their comprehension skill sets!
