FFCS has an unused snow day that will be “given back” on Friday, May 28. FFCS will be closed for students and staff that day. This means students and staff will have a four-day weekend from May 28-31 (Memorial Day), and school will resume on Tuesday, June 1.
FFCS is holding a food drive to support the backpack program for students in need. The district provides backpacks filled with food to help meet the needs of children on weekends, when other resources such as school meals are not available. Sixth grade students in Kari Callery’s social studies class completed extra credit at home to support their research projects about Ancient Egypt. Students made their projects at home and photographed them for a slideshow to share with their peers.
