The plan continues all existing student programs and support services with a 3.34% year-to-year spending increase and a tax levy at the district’s limit.
FFCS has an unused snow day that will be “given back” on Friday, May 28. FFCS will be closed for students and staff that day. This means students and staff will have a four-day weekend from May 28-31 (Memorial Day), and school will resume on Tuesday, June 1.
FFCS is holding a food drive to support the backpack program for students in need. The district provides backpacks filled with food to help meet the needs of children on weekends, when other resources such as school meals are not available. SUNY announces its spring virtual college fair schedule: Thursday, April 22, 6-8 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 1-4 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 1-4 p.m. The fair will include representatives from nearly every SUNY campus.
