The following message was shared with district families/caregivers on March 13.
FFCS Families,
Each year, the school calendar has built-in emergency days available for weather or related emergencies that may cause the district to cancel school. If the district does not utilize these days, they are given back in the school calendar. At this time, we have two emergency days that we will be giving back in our calendar unless a weather-related event causes us to cancel school.
The first day that we will cancel classes for staff and students will be on Monday, April 8. This marks the Monday following the April break (3/29-4/5). If there is a second day available, we will cancel classes for students and staff on Friday, May 17.
If anything changes over the next two months, the district will communicate that information as soon as practicable.
