Our students are always seeking to learn and understand how our world works and how it shapes our daily lives. Fonda-Fultonville junior Lily Perry is taking the next step as she begins her role serving on the FFCSD Board of Education as a student board member. She will begin her official orientation on Wednesday, Sept. 30th.

Why did you want to become a student liaison to the Board of Education?
To learn how the Board operates and how decisions are made. I really enjoyed the first meeting that I attended.
What do you hope to accomplish in this process for the 2026-27 school year?
I want to be a good voice for the student body and take my initiative to accomplish that goal for students at FFCSD.
Where do you see yourself after your time at Fonda-Fultonville?
I see myself going to college to study medicine. I’m unsure if that will be in the dental or physician field.
