District adds school counselor for high school

The Fonda-Fultonville CSD recently welcomed Amanda Rose as a new high school counselor (grades 9-12).

Earlier this month, the Fonda-Fultonville CSD welcomed Amanda Rose as a new high school counselor (grades 9-12). Mrs. Rose comes to the district from the Hamilton-Fulton-Montgomery Board of Cooperative Educational Services PTECH program, and more recently, the Canajoharie Central School District. She brings multiple years of counseling experience to our district.

“We are excited to welcome Mrs. Rose’s experience, advocacy and dedication to assisting our high school students,” said F-F High School Principal Mr. Grady. “We look forward to her efforts in engaging today’s students with the ability to become stronger in the classroom while enabling them to be confident in their day-to-day school activities.”

Mrs. Rose has a Bachelor of Science degree in Childcare and Development from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Cobleskill.  In addition, she has a Master of Science and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Professional School Counseling from the Esteves School of Education at Russell Sage College.
