Thirty-five students inducted into National Honor Society

The FFCS chapter of the National Honor Society gained 35 new members on April 1 at our Virtual Induction Ceremony. Students joining the organization have to first meet academic criteria of a 90 average, and next must fill out an information packet demonstrating their school and community involvement contributing to the four pillars (scholarship, service, leadership, and character). Students completed all components online this year. Last year’s inductees created individual welcome videos featuring photos of the new members with their certificates, at school functions, and with their families while reading speeches highlighting their inductees’ accomplishments. The organization will continue to work this year toward planning next year’s service activities and ways to help the community.
