Fonda-Fultonville Central School District introduces Christy Radez as the new director of curriculum and instruction.

Earlier this month, the Fonda-Fultonville Central School District welcomed Christy Radez as the new director of curriculum and instruction. Radez comes to the district from the New York State Education Department, where she oversaw the Seal of Civic Readiness application process on the SED Monitoring and Vendor Performance System for over 600 schools. Before her work at NYSED, she was a teacher and summer school principal in the Coxsackie-Athens Central School District.

As part of her new role at Fonda-Fultonville, Ms. Radez will work with principals and teacher committees to organize and coordinate curriculum implementation for kindergarten through grade 12. She has nearly 23 years of experience in public education.

“As a district, we are incredibly fortunate to have Ms. Radez join our team,” said Superintendent of Schools Mr. Ciaccio. “We are eager to see her increase learning opportunities and work hand-in-hand with our faculty to continue creating positive outcomes for our students.”

Ms. Radez has a Bachelor of Arts in History from the State University of New York at Oswego, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Union College. In addition, she also obtained a School District Leader, Education Administration degree from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.
