Students and staff throughout FFCS raised over $700 and a carload of goods during the holiday season for animal shelters in our region and beyond. Students in Mrs. Lott’s and Mr. Headwell’s classes also donated money from recyclables towards the cause. Running the recycling program allows areas in need to receive funds while keeping our school and planet green.
Funds were divided and distributed between the Montgomery County SPCA, the Fulton County Regional SPCA, Feline Guardian Angels, the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, the Ayres Animal Shelter, the James Brennan Humane Society, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, the Humane Society, the World Wildlife Fund and Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
