District launches NEW ParentSquare mobile app

The Fonda-Fultonville Central School District has launched a new ParentSquare app to communicate with families. ParentSquare will be the district’s main method of communication starting in the 2021-22 school year, allowing for effective dialogue between parents and their children’s teachers, school and the district. The ParentSquare app is free and available now for download on both iOS and Android devices.

Starting July 1, FFCS will begin using ParentSquare for caregiver notifications, replacing School Messenger. All members of the FFCS community, including teachers, administrators, staff, parents, students and community members, are encouraged to sign up for their own ParentSquare account, which will enable them to stay up-to-date on communications from the district. Users can also access ParentSquare through a web browser at www.parentsquare.com.

On June 8, families should receive a welcome text and email message from ParentSquare. The message will ask users to download the FREE ParentSquare App and create an account.

Please note: Caregivers who have not received a ParentSquare welcome message should notify the main office of their student’s school.

The anticipated launch of ParentSquare is July 1. Caregivers should register for an account now so they can receive important information over the summer as it relates to school reopening in the fall.

More information, including resources, videos and troubleshooting tips are available on our website.

During the 2021-22 school year, ParentSquare will be expanded to encompass other communications from administrators, principals and teachers.
