FFCS is one of 91 New York schools set to receive grant money through New York State’s Agricultural Education Incentive Grants Program. High school students in Donna Stead’s calculus class recently helped the fourth graders in Samantha Stead’s class with their math lesson. They worked on perimeter and area word problems. It was a great opportunity for younger and older students to collaborate across grade levels so they can learn from one another.
