In recognition of National Bus Safety Week, we are offering an optional poster contest for all FFCSD students. This year’s theme is “Safe Miles = Big Smiles.”
Please create a poster illustration of what “Safe Miles = Big Smiles” means to you, with the theme clearly written on the poster submission. Each poster should be sized at either 11” X 17 or 12” X 18”

All materials are the responsibility of the interested contestant. Once all of the posters are entered into the contest, they will be displayed in the bus garage of our transportation company, Student Transportation of America (STA), for all of our district bus drivers to review. Each driver will be able to cast their vote for the poster they like the best.

The Grand Prize winner will receive a Chromebook donated by our transportation company STA. In addition to the first-place prize, the winning poster will be entered into the national poster contest with a chance to win up to $500.00! Please see NAPT.org for more information. Prizes for second and third place will also be awarded.

All entries must be submitted by 12/11/2026. Poster entries can be handed in to either the elementary or middle school office or to the transportation office located in the middle school right next to the multipurpose room to Ms. Sweet.

Winners to be announced during the morning announcements on 12/23/2026. Prizes will be presented to winners at our Board of Education Meeting on 1/25/2026.
