Last week, students in our International Club connected directly with high school peers in Italy through an interactive cultural video exchange. Moving beyond textbooks and traditional lessons, participants shared firsthand perspectives on daily life—comparing everything from school schedules and family traditions to favorite music and local customs.
The live dialogue provided a powerful opportunity for students to practice cross-cultural communication, discover how much common ground they share with teens across the Atlantic, and gain a deeper appreciation for global perspectives. Opportunities like this empower our school community to build empathy, curiosity, and global awareness—proving that meaningful international connection is only a click away.
Next up for the club is a call with students in Istanbul, Turkey in November and Dillenburg, Germany in December!
