FFCS Mentoring Program fostering teaching excellence

On Monday, June 8, first-year teachers and staff who completed their first year of Mentoring through the FFCS Mentoring Program were honored along with their mentors at a small celebration.
On Monday, June 8, first-year teachers and staff who completed their first year of Mentoring through the FFCS Mentoring Program were honored along with their mentors at a small celebration.

On Monday, June 8, first-year teachers and staff who completed their first year of Mentoring through the FFCS Mentoring Program were honored along with their mentors at a small celebration. Mentees received certificates and a small gift from Mentor Coordinator Wendi Waters and each mentor spoke on behalf of their mentee. Wendi stated that, “This program is essential in maintaining our tradition of excellence here at Fonda-Fultonville. We are proud to honor the new staff who were mentored by a tremendous group of dedicated professionals.”
 
Honored were Maribeth Pagerie and her mentor Melissa Zumbolo, Ciarra Whipple and her mentor Shannon Flood, Morgan Syvertsen and his mentor Kristen Priamo, Ella Moses and her mentor Shelly Shaffer, Kelsy Denton and her mentor Gwen VanGorder, Jamie Roscoe and her mentor Chad Lenig, Nicole Burtt and her mentor Kari Callery, Ashley Gifford and her mentor Randi Betts, Sayrah Durgan and her mentor Samantha Stead, Olivia Meserole and her mentor Joe Geniti, Holly Hisert-Joyner and her mentor Melanie Capron.

Dr DeMallie closed the ceremony by welcoming the new staff to the FFCS family and thanking the mentors for all their hard work and dedication to this program.
