The Fonda-Fultonville Central School District winter athletic varsity teams were recognized by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) as student-scholar teams for the 2024-25 athletic season.
According to the NYSPHSAA website, to receive Scholar-Athlete team recognition with a certificate, the team’s average GPA for 75% of the roster must be greater than or equal to 90.00.
“Our district’s student-athletes continue to excel in the classroom and their respective sports,” shared FFCS Athletic Director Eric Wilson. “We are proud of their achievements and how they represent our school community with their leadership and dedication to being better each day as student-athletes.”
During the 2024-25 fall athletic season, the following varsity teams achieved student-scholar status:
- Boys’ Basketball
- Cheerleading
- Boys’ Indoor Track
- Girls’ Indoor Track
