The FFCS varsity cheerleaders continued to bring exciting energy to our winter athletic season! The varsity cheerleaders supported the boys’ basketball team at all home games and participated in five competitions, and secured two second-place trophies. This year’s squad also placed third and fourth against a formidable Class C division! Their outstanding achievements earned them a spot in the sectionals, where they secured a commendable sixth position out of eight exceptional teams. Throughout this season, the cheerleaders demonstrated unwavering dedication and growth in their performances with each competition.

Additionally, two esteemed seniors, Leann Humphrey and Victoria Rice, made remarkable strides. They participated in a tryout and were selected as first-league all-stars. This achievement grants them the privilege of cheering at their senior all-star game.

This season was about more than just competition— the team, the camaraderie, and the moments that made us better athletes and people. Whether grinding through tough workouts, celebrating huge breakthroughs, or pushing through setbacks together, this team proved what it means to be Valley Hawks.
