We’d like to use this opportunity to tell everyone how FFCS communicates weather-related announcements, be it closings, delays or early dismissals:
- There will be a districtwide all-call, text and email from the school.
- There will be a post on the school district’s website, right on the homepage at www.fondafultonvilleschools.org.
- Announcements will be shared with local TV and radio stations.
It is best to rely on more than one source of information when it comes to weather-related announcements. This is particularly true in situations that involve power and technology outages. Emergency preparedness agencies have advised that residents have access to a battery-powered radio so that they can receive information if other communication channels are unavailable.
