This year, the district participated in and fielded, its first Unified Sports team in school history. Meet the FFCS Unified Bowling team. This great group consists of high school students in grades 9-12. For the 2025 season, the FFCS United Bowling team hit the lanes and built a successful team that not only placed second in their division (Division 9) but built friendships in the process.
“I’m extremely proud of all the kids, and they did such a wonderful job building bonds and learning how to have fun competing in bowling,” said FFCS Unified Sports Youth Communications Advisor Jill Gulick. “The friendships will last a lifetime, and we’re excited to have seen their growth in bowling and creating a lifetime of memories in our first season as a Unified Sports team.”
The district continues to review additional opportunities associated with Unified Sports. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering, please contact FFCS Athletic Director Eric Wilson at ewilson@ffcsd.org.
