Starting Monday, May 10, students and staff are invited to join in the fun for Spirit Week at FFCS!
- Monday, May 10th – Wear your favorite hat
- Tuesday, May 11th – It’s Tourist Tuesday
- Wednesday, May 12th – Tie Dye Day
- Thursday, May 13th – Wear Purple for Cystic Fibrosis
- Friday, May 14th – USA/Patriotic Day – Think red, white, and blue!
May is cystic fibrosis awareness month. The National Junior Honor Society and the High School Yearbook are teaming up to bring awareness to our fellow classmates. Cystic fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time.
Each year, NJHS participates in the Great Strides Walk that will take place virtually on Sunday, May 16. That’s why we are asking all students to join us in a spirit week to get psyched up for the walk! We walk in honor of those that have lost their battle with cystic fibrosis and for those who continue to fight.
