When school is fun, students are engaged! Elementary math teacher Jennifer Zajaceskowski uses this strategy in her classes to help her students be successful. Her students were all smiles during a recent lesson from virtual guest Greg Tang.
Tang is a nationally renowned author and math educator. He has created a math curriculum and hosts workshops and conferences for teachers to help with strategies for math learners who need extra academic support.
Remote learners were also able to participate in this experience. The opportunity was facilitated by the district’s IT department.
“The students were able to interact with Mr. Tang using their hands and whiteboards,” Zajaceskowski said. “It was a fun learning experience for all involved.”
