The Fonda-Fultonville (FF) Theatrical Company is proud to announce its upcoming spring musical production of Disney’s The Lion King Jr. This spectacular stage adaptation of the beloved animated classic will bring the African savanna to life right in the heart of the Mohawk Valley.
The Lion King Jr. tells the story of the epic adventures of a young lion cub named Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destiny as king. Accompanied by the iconic music of Elton John and Tim Rice, the production features timeless hits such as “Circle of Life,” “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” and “Hakuna Matata.”
“Our students have put an incredible amount of work into capturing the spirit and heart of this story,” says Stephanie Brewer, director. “This show is a celebration of community and the ‘Circle of Life’ that connects us all.”
