F-F Elementary students receive high marks for NYCAMH Farm Safety Art Contest

Recently, Fonda-Fultonville fourth-graders Jocelyn and Elizabeth Brush participated in and won first and second prizes in their category (9-12-years-old) in the New York Center for Agricultural Medicine and Health’s (NYCAMH) Farm Safety Art Contest.

The annual contest, hosted by the New York Center for Agricultural Medicine and Health (NYCAMH), garnered 34 entries from youth across the state, focused on this year’s theme “High Visibility – Be Safe by Being Seen.”

Entries communicated how farmworkers can make themselves more visible by wearing bright colored, reflective, high-visibility clothing and adding lighting and marking to equipment. The complete NYCAMH press release can be found here.
