Character Education recipients for Q2 announced

Character Education is proud to announce that Maroon & Gold Awards for the second quarter were distributed on Wednesday, January 28th. The individuals who received these awards were nominated by their team of teachers or special area teachers throughout the building. Students were chosen based on their outstanding display of kindness and empathy this quarter as well as our character traits of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, citizenship, and perseverance.

Character Education Advisor, Katelyn Fletcher, along with Principal, Erica Wardell, and Assistant Principal, Kyle Roberts, were delighted to present these deserving students with a certificate and prizes in their “Maroon & Gold Badge” during the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade lunches. Students received various school based incentives/ prizes such as a ¨no homework pass¨ and ¨bonus points pass¨ as well as an ice cream treat in the cafeteria, and a Stewartś ice cream card. 

Congratulations to everyone on a great second quarter! Character Education looks forward to handing out more awards in the third quarter!
