April 7: COVID-19 positive case

Today, April 7, the Fonda-Fultonville Central School District was informed that a member of the middle school tested positive for COVID-19. This positive case will impact one classroom in the middle school. Our hybrid learning schedule will proceed as normal and FFCS remains open for in-person instruction.

Contact tracing has been done and all individuals that need to quarantine have been contacted. If you were not contacted, then you know that you and/or your child were not in contact with the individual who tested positive.

We again remind you that we are following all of the necessary health and safety precautions outlined in our reopening plan, including mask-wearing, social distancing and enhanced cleaning and disinfecting. We will continue to work in close partnership with our public health partners. We also ask you to continue to maintain personal awareness of COVID symptoms and encourage your children to continue following appropriate safety precautions.
