The Fonda-Fultonville Central School District proudly announces the Top Ten students for the Class of 2025. Each year, the district recognizes the Top 10 students and highlights their commitment and accomplishments.
Each year, the top four graduates will give speeches at the annual high school commencement ceremony in June.
“The Top 10 recognition is an important tradition for our district, and it recognizes the hard work and dedication of our top students,” said Fonda-Fultonville High School Principal Mr. Grady. “This year’s list of students continues to impress, and we are excited to see where their talents take them in their future pathways. Congratulations to you all!”
Elizabeth Vosburgh (Class Rank: 1)

Meet Elizabeth Vosburgh. She’s the daughter of Lisa and Kevin Vosburgh and will be attending the State University at Cobleskill in the fall. Her experiences at Fonda-Fultonville have taken her throughout the musical department from the marching band to the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and the ever-popular Pep Band. Academically, she has thrived in the classroom and lab, having earned an honors Biology teaching assistantship. On top of that, she has gone above and beyond by securing the following accolades in mathematics: highest average in Precalculus and Geometry and earning an Excellence in Physics. She has also been recognized with an Excellence in Honors for both Biology and AP Biology. Ms. Vosburgh has also been recognized with the highest award for American History. Outside of the classroom, she recently completed the New York State Wildlife Rehabilitators examination.
Rhyan Lewis (Class Rank: 2)

Rhyan Lewis is the daughter of Shelbi and Mike Lewis. In the fall, she will be attending Elmira College. Her presence on campus cannot be understated. She excelled not only in the classroom but in athletics as well. She has been on the girls’ varsity soccer team since freshman year, was a member of the varsity indoor and outdoor track and field teams, and added wrestling to her resume during her junior year. She was also a member of the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Select Chorus during her four years at Fonda-Fultonville. She was named to the National Honor Society for her junior and senior years and was a member of the International Club. As she wraps up her high school experience, she gained a few awards and recognitions during her time on campus: Elmira Presidential Scholarship, WAC Section 2 All-Star, 2nd team, received the Coach’s Award in her sophomore year. To cap it off, she made the Principal’s List from freshman to junior year and the Dean’s List for her senior year.
Allison Gillis (Class Rank: 3)

Meet Allison Gillis. She’s the daughter of Theresa Gillis and Donald Stearns. She will be pursuing her educational pathway at the State University of New York at Fredonia in the fall. Ms. Gillis has had a constant presence across all areas of the band and chorus scene. She has been a member of the FFCS Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Select Chorus, Pit Band, Jazz Band, and Pep Band. She has also lent her student voice to the Outdoor Club, Yellow Roses, and the International Club. She is also a member of the Outdoor Track & Field team. Her academic accolades include the following: Principal’s List (four years), Honors Biology, and Honors Global History, amongst many other academic achievements at Fonda-Fultonville. She’s seeking to pursue a degree in music therapy.
Colton Dowglielewicz (Class Rank: 4)

Meet Colton Dowglielewicz. He is the son of John and Melanie Dowglielewicz of Amsterdam, NY. Colton has been an active member of the F-F Golf Team and has been Class Treasurer for the past four years. Colton is also a recipient of the NYS Seal of Civic Readiness. The Seal of Civic Readiness is a formal honor from the NYS Education Department. Students earn the Seal when they attain a high level of proficiency in civic knowledge, civic skills, civic mindsets, and civic experiences. The commendation highlights the students’ commitment to civic engagement through participatory government, civic responsibility, and civic values. Students earned the Seal through Social Studies Regents scores, extracurricular activities, electives, and outside-of-school experiences. He will be attending Hudson Valley Community College in the fall.
Preston Phillips (Class Rank: 5)

Preston Phillips is the son of Daniel and Toni Phillips. Preston will be attending Fulton-Montgomery Community College in the fall. He has consistently been on the Principal’s List every quarter of his high school career and recently accepted the LeMoyne Heights award in the spring of 2024. He has utilized his time positively in the district from clubs and activities from the Spanish Club and the International Club to the musical department in the Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, and Jazz Ensemble. He has also been a fixture in the F-F community. He has participated in the Montgomery County Youth Serving Veterans Cleanup Day and various donation efforts in the area. He works at TJ Maxx and has previously worked at Karen’s Produce and Ice Cream.
Ashley Glode (Class Rank: 6)

Ashley Glode is the daughter of John and Lynn Glode of Fonda, NY. She has been accepted into the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY. Ms. Glode has been on the Principal’s List during her four years at Fonda-Fultonville High School. She has received extensive recognition in various Fulton-Montgomery County 4-H/Cooperative Extension programs ranging from Achievement in Horticulture to Ag-Business. She also was an early admission to Fulton-Montgomery Community College where she made the Dean’s List (2025). She has been an active member of the FFA (Fonda-Fultonville Chapter) since 2018, and a member of the F.O.N.D.A. Group which is dedicated to the beautification of the Village of Fonda.
Cassandra Denton (Class Rank: 7)

Cassandra Denton is the daughter of Richard Denton and Christina Forrest. For the past four years, she has been a key member of the FF Theatrical Co., involved in Student Government since 2022, and has been a creative force with the Art Club for the past three years. She has also been a participating member of the Spanish Club, International Club, and Yearbook Club. She has been named to the Principal’s List and secured the LeMoyne Leadership Award, which recognizes excellence in leadership, presented by different organizations to individuals or teams demonstrating outstanding leadership qualities and contributions. In the fall, she will take her talents to LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY.
Keira Muselbeck (Class Rank: 8)

Keira Muselbeck is the daughter of Katey Migdal-Muselbeck and Richard Muselbeck. She will continue her studies as a future “Terrier” at Boston University in the fall. Her connection to BU was no accident. She applied for and was accepted into the 2021-2022 Summer Preview Program at the school and was also accepted into the 2022-2023 High School Honors Program. Her talents at FFCS stretch far and wide from the classroom to the stage. She has been a mainstay on the National Honor Society, has been a constant presence for the district’s Future Farmers of America (FFA) program, and has performed as a member of the FFCS Theatrical Company. She has also been recognized for her excellence in Geometry and Algebra. Ms. Muselbeck has been highlighted for her work in public speaking, having advanced to substates in Senior Extemporaneous Public Speaking FFA from 2021 to 2023.
Theresa Stewart (Class Rank: 9)

Meet Theresa Stewart. She is the daughter of Tina Taylor and Charles Stewart. Her impact on the district was special. She’s ending her term as Student Government President and has always been active in several clubs and activities during her years at the high school. Her athletic contributions could be found on the track, softball diamond, basketball court, and soccer field. Ms. Stewart was also a mainstay in the music department, participating in the Wind Symphony and Concert Band. Her academic honors were excellent, as she was listed on the National Honor Society for her junior and senior years. In addition, she has been a member of the Yellow Roses since seventh grade and a Key Club member since her sophomore year. Throw in her time with the Outdoor Club and the International Club, and you can see she made the most of her time with our district. In addition, she played a role in defining the next steps when the district had to change its mascot. She represented the student voice as part of the Mascot Name and Mascot Stakeholder Committee over the past two years. Her impact also goes beyond our school campus. She was nominated as Teen of Impact for the American Heart Association for her volunteer work for the past ten years. Ms. Stewart was also recognized with the Clarkson University Achievement Award for leadership and academic achievement. She will be attending Ohio State University in the fall.
Jake Hernigle (Class Rank:10)

Meet future “Golden Knight” Jake Hernigle. Jake is the son of Gary and Andrea Hernigle. He will be attending Clarkson University in the fall. At F-F, he has been a standout student-athlete competing in football, baseball, and basketball. He was named Baseball WAC MVP in 2024 and won the batting title in the same year. He was also named first-team Section 2 Class C linebacker for 2024 and was named Senior Captain. Outside of his athletic pursuits, he is a constant presence on the Principal’s List, is a scholar-athlete, and was awarded an engineering scholarship to Alfred University. In addition, he is building his skill sets in the workforce where he currently works for Jake Bowles Contracting in Tribes Hill, where he has been assisting in building decks and additions since 2022.
