In the elementary school foyer, there’s a remarkable drawing of a tree that’s used for numerous activities and artwork showcases throughout the year. During the initial holiday season, the tree is transformed with leaves prior to the Thanksgiving break, and special messages from students and staff are shared on what they are thankful for during this time of year.
“During the holiday season, we offer students the ability to be creative and share their experiences through art, music, and writing,” shared F-F Elementary Principal Mr. Romano. “The tree being decorated is just another opportunity to share what they are thankful for and to learn what others appreciate during this time of year. You can learn more about your classmates and why things are special to them.”
