position as we begin the new school year.

In 2023, Mr. Roberts was selected as the assistant principal for the middle and high school buildings. Mr. Roberts arrived at the district from the Hudson City Central School District, where he had served as a health education teacher since 2017. He was also named interim assistant principal during his time at HCCSD.

Mr. Roberts also worked at the Lansingburgh Central School District as assistant principal. At both districts, he was responsible for the planning and coordination of programs and services, participated in culture/climate committees, assisted in the retention of staff and faculty, and created schoolwide strategies and implementation of social and emotional processes for classrooms.

Mr. Roberts brings an ability to interact and create connections with students, staff, and faculty.

As the district works through the process of finding a permanent middle school principal, they will also be working towards hiring an interim assistant principal to support the duties Mr. Roberts performed as the AP for the middle and high school.
