FFMS Character Ed recipients announced for Q4

Character Education is proud to announce that Maroon & Gold Awards for the fourth quarter were distributed on Thursday, June 12. The individuals who received these awards were nominated by their team of teachers or special area teachers throughout the building. Students were chosen based on their outstanding display of kindness and empathy this quarter as well as our character traits of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, citizenship, and perseverance. Character Education Advisor, Katelyn Fletcher, along with assistant principal, Kyle Roberts, were delighted to present these deserving students with a certificate and prizes in their “Maroon & Gold Badge” during the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade lunches. Students received various school based incentives/ prizes such as a ¨no homework pass¨ and ¨bonus points pass¨ as well as an ice cream treat in the cafeteria, and a Stewartś ice cream card.
