At Fonda-Fultonville Elementary School, it is our mission to create a respectful partnership among community, staff, and students. Together, we will provide a safe, nurturing environment that encourages acceptance and academic excellence, while promoting integrity and life-long learning.

Arrival Time

Students should not be dropped off before 7:45 a.m. due to lack of supervision.

School Opening Late or Closing

School closing, delayed starting time or early dismissal will be posted on local TV stations. Announcements regarding emergency changes in schedule or activities can also be viewed on our website. If there is a two-hour delay, students should arrive at 9:45 a.m.

Morning Drop-Off

A staff member will be at the top of the loop to open the door as a valet service for each car. Please do not get out of your car or drive past our staff member. Once our staff has closed your door you may proceed through the loop. We will be letting students out one car at a time.

At first, this may seem like an inconvenience and a process that will be time consuming, however, if everyone abides by these guidelines it will be more efficient, and most importantly, safer for everyone.

Parking in the loop is prohibited until after 8 a.m. If you require more time to get your child ready to exit your car please park in one of the available spots.

Excuses from School

Any excuse for leaving the building must be approved by the office. A written request from the parent or legal guardian must be presented to the elementary Office prior to 8:30 a.m. All requests must state the reason for early dismissal or they will not be honored. Written parental permission should include full name of student, exact time of dismissal, purpose, date and full signature of parent.
