District Pick-up Procedures: What to know

As we become more comfortable with our school year routines, we would like to share information regarding pick-up procedures for our elementary and middle school students. For our district to ensure reliable transportation for our students, we request that families or caregivers continue to stay informed in allowing our students to be picked up from our school campus.

The following safety measures MUST be followed when picking up your student(s):

  • If you or another guardian plans to pick up your student at the end of the day, please notify the main office of your student’s school by noon on the intended pickup day. This advance notice helps our district plan accordingly and ensures that students are released from campus safely and securely.
  • If your student requires aftercare at a location not on the FFCS campus, we encourage a consistent schedule to support safe transportation. If you need to make a change to your child’s aftercare plan, please call the main office of your student’s school by noon on the day the change will take effect.
  • Many of our elementary students are now experiencing a new building at the middle school, and occasionally, pickup can be confusing in the opening weeks of school. We would like to remind families of middle school students that pickup will be made in front of the middle school and not on the elementary side of campus. We are concerned for the safety of students and require students to be in the designated pickup zone when being picked up on campus.

We sincerely appreciate your partnership in ensuring a safe and smooth pick-up process for all of our students. Thank you for your commitment and support in keeping our campus safe.

If you have any questions or concerns related to the pick-up process, please contact your student’s main office.
