At-home learning will continue for the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year because of the ongoing COVID-19 public health situation. The 2020-21 budget vote and board elections will be conducted by absentee ballot only. Qualified voters must return ballots to the district by 5 p.m. on June 9.

FFCS adds director of curriculum and instruction position

As included in the 2019-20 school budget, FFCS has a new position intended to help guide the district to even greater academic success.

Megan Collins was appointed to the position of director of curriculum and instruction in May with an effective date of July 1.

The director of curriculum and instruction is tasked to ensure the district is meeting or exceeding state education standards and will work to align the district’s curriculum today in a way that will be relevant for the careers of tomorrow. She will also be tasked with helping to coordinate professional development that is enriching for faculty and staff.
