Research in the District by Outside Agencies | Policy 3610

The Board of Education of the Fonda-Fultonville Central School District shares the desire of the staff and the total school community to provide sound educational experiences. The Board recognizes that research is one basis for examining these experiences and encourages the participation of the school district and its staff in outside research projects when, in the judgment of the Superintendent, such involvement may lead to improved learning experiences for students without overburdening any segment of the school community. Care must be taken to preserve the rights of the participants to privacy and confidentiality and to inform each participant, prior to participation, of the reason(s) for the research.
