F-M Connect brings robotics workshops to elementary school

The F-M Connect series brought Fulton-Montgomery Community College staff to the elementary school for robotics workshops with fourth graders on Friday, Jan. 19. The series aims to expose elementary students to college at a young age and features different programs throughout the year.

Jeremy Spraggs, assistant professor of electrical technology, gave a presentation about nanotechnology and clean rooms. Admissions counselor Mimi Eglin led a robot activity. Parent volunteer Tim Burton led a CADD activity, and there was also a building structure activity using paper and tape.
