42005 Scholar-Athlete Nominees

Megan Papierniak

  • Section 2 Girls' Basketball Scholar-Athlete. There will be a breakfast held on Sunday, March 20 at the Albany Marriot.
  • Nominated as a Capital Region Scholar-Athlete. There will be a dinner honoring nominees and finalists in mid-May at the Crowne Plaza in Albany.

    A little about Megan: She is a five-year varsity softball starter (Team MVP, 2 years/All Conference, 3 years), a four-year varsity basketball starter (Team MVP, 2 years/All-Conference, 4 years), and a four-year varsity soccer starter (All-Conference, 2 years. Megan is 6th in her class of 103, has a GPA of 95.67, and scored an 1150 on the SATs.

Ben Lasky

  • Section 2 Boys' Basketball Scholar-Athlete. Breakfast held on Sunday, March 6 at the Desmond.
  • National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete. Ben was selected as one of 10 finalists. Dinner honoring scholar-athletes will be held on Monday, May 2 at the Holiday Inn Turf.
  • Nominated as a Capital Region Scholar-Athlete. There will be a dinner honoring nominees and finalists in mid-May at the Crowne Plaza in Albany.

    A little about Ben: He is a three-year varsity football starter (All-Conference, 2 years), a three year varsity basketball starter (All-Conference, 2 years/Team MVP, 1 year), and a four-year varsity track starter. Ben is 16th in his class of 103, has a GPA of 93.44, and scored a 1080 on the SATs.
