Welcome to Ms. Spraker's Spanish Class

With the Spanish speaking population in the United States rising, our nation is becoming very diverse.   Learning a foreign language is now a requirement in most NYS schools and colleges.  The students at FFCS need to earn one to three credits of a foreign language to graduate.  Most employers will look very highly upon a student who can speak more than one language.  One becomes more knowledgeable of the world, more culturally diverse and tolerant and obviously a better asset to many companies.  With many of our neighbors now speaking a different language, it allows us to communicate with more people.  Travel to some beautiful climates, learning how others celebrate life through food, music and dance, understanding the world around us, are all many of the benefits of learning a foreign language.
