Photo of students at blood driveBlood drive exceeds goal

Thanks to all who rolled up their sleeves on Friday, Nov. 6, the High School Student Government exceeded their donation goal at the annual American Red Cross drive. Students and staff donated 52 units surpassing the goal of last year's total of 40 units.

Let's do it again!

Every two seconds, someone in our country needs blood. Yet, only five percent of Americans give blood, so the Red Cross is constantly seeking donations. Student Government is stepping up to help meet that need by hosting a second blood drive on Monday, March 8 at FFCS.

All students, teachers, and members of the community are encouraged to donate. We welcome students who are 16 years old (with parent permission) or older. To determine if your are eligible to give, visit the Red Cross web site.

Thanks to all donors and volunteers who helped make the November drive a success. Join in March to make it an even greater success.
