Giving for a cause
Fonda-Fultonville Elementary School students are putting some of
their character education lessons to work over the next three
weeks. Now through June 17, students are fundraising for the
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The entire school, K-4 will be
collecting pennies, spare change—and bills, too!
Fourth graders are selling "Pennies for Patients." Everyone is
invited to purchase a paper penny for one dollar and to write
his/her name on it. All pennies will be displayed in the
elementary school lobby. Fourth graders will also hold a "Team
up for Leukemia and Lymphoma" fundraiser day where students can
donate one dollar and wear their favorite sports team jersey,
hat, shirt, or other team paraphernalia.
Parents and community members are invited to join our children
as they work to support this worthy cause. Simply send in your
contribution with your elementary school student or make a
donation online by clicking the link below. Support our kids as
they learn the importance of helping others!
