4Program Evaluation

The District evaluates the quality of the special education programs by closely examining four indicators:

  • Student Progress and Growth Toward IEP Goals As Measured at Annual Review IEP Meetings and Triennials.
     
  • Program Evaluation Questionnaires Completed by Staff and Parents (See Appendix B)
     
  • Student Progress on SED tests as Indicated by the District Report Card Results in comparison to the SED Benchmarks. The Benchmarks list goals that all schools must try to achieve; e.g. grade 4 level 3 on ELA and Math.
     
  • Review of district special education data and the development of the Comprehensive System of Personnel Development plan.
