4Welcome to the F-F PTA Page!

    PTA News

    • The PTA reminds you that Campbells no longer accepts the front panels from their cans. They will only accept the UPC symbol. For a complete guide to what you should save and which products are eligible, download the official rules. This is a very important program; the 2006-07 collection earned the district a new projector!

    • Membership—PTA membership is open to anyone and is still available for only $5.00. You can pick up membership forms in the Elementary or Middle School offices, or call Jacki York (853-1809). Thanks to everyone who has already joined PTA.

    • Fall Book Fair—The Scholastic Book Fair will be held in the Middle School Multi-Purpose Room Nov.19–30, with a special Parent's Night on November 19th. This will be a great opportunity to do some holiday shopping!
Just a reminder to parents- the books at the Fall Book Fair are full price.

    • Don't forget to save your Box Tops and register your Price Chopper card.

    • Yearbook Update—The PTA is already planning the 2007-2008 yearbook. The yearbook will have 48 full color pages. The price will once again be $10. There will be an order form sent home.

    • There is a Toys For Tots donation box located in the Elementary Office. All donations will be distributed to Fonda-Fultonville families. Please stop by and donate a new, unwrapped toy or book and help our local children have a happy holiday.

    • The next PTA meeting will be on Dec. 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the Elementary School Library. Hope to see you there!

Unity

I dreamed I stood in a studio and watched two sculptors there.
The clay they used was a young child’s mind.
And they fashioned it with care.

One was a teacher; the tools he used were books, music and art;
One a parent with a guiding hand and a gentle and loving heart.

Day after day the teacher toiled, with touch that was deft and sure,
While the parent labored by his side and polished and smoothed it o’er.

And when at last their tasks were done, they were proud of what they had wrought,
For the things they molded into the child could neither be sold or bought.

And each agreed he would have failed if he had worked alone.
For behind the parent stood the school, and behind the teacher, the home.
