F-F Athletics receives $1000 from Dunkin' Donuts

Back on February 7th, Dunkin' Donuts held a "Support High School Sports" day where partial proceeds from that day's sales would be donated to support High School Sports.

Fonda-Fultonville was selected one of 30 area high school to receive a $1,000 donation from the local Dunkin' Donuts franchisees—total donation of $30,000 to area high schools!

This is above and beyond their weekly donation of $500 to local high schools as part of the Dunkin' Donuts-Newschannel 13 (WNYT) High School Player of the Week program. Since March 2005, Dunkin' donuts has contributed more than $90,000 to high school sports.

F-F Athletic Director Alex Mancini accepted the check on behalf of the school at a district athletic meeting held on Wednesday, May 2nd.

Not only has Mancini faithfully served the Braves over the years, he has been equally dedicated to advancing Section II football as well. He chaired a committee that created the first Section II handbook in 1990. He also led the fight for starting league classification play.
