Fifteen middle school girls attended the Future Women of STEM Conference held at Fulton-Montgomery Community College on May 23. Sixth graders in Katelyn Fletcher’s classes recently had a Poetry Walk as part of their final project for a poetry unit.
College in the High School Spanish V students recently researched a Spanish speaking country and typical foods and customs from that region. After doing research and writing a paper, students participated in a culminating activity by preparing the authentic foods and sharing the information that they learned about each place.
First graders recently learned about local government and businesses during trips to downtown Fonda through the district’s new Junior Achievement Program.
