The Fonda-Fultonville Central School District Class of 2016 graduated on Saturday, June 25 to the tune of guitar strums, words of wisdom and nearly $100,000 in scholarships.
The Fonda-Fultonville Elementary School held an art show pow wow on June 11. The halls and display cases were decorated with Native American art and pottery created by students.
4th & 5th graders participated in Just Run Club and logged 35 to 50 miles of running in 6 weeks.
Fonda-Fultonville student Will Kenyon was awarded the Tony Camarra Memorial Award Scholarship for 2016 from HFM BOCES. The $500 scholarship honors the admired HFM BOCES teacher, who taught BOCES classes from September, 1986, until his death in March, 2011. The Fonda-Fultonville Central School District was recently presented the “Award of Excellence” from the NYS Public High School Athletic Association. This award recognizes schools for exemplary display of sportsmanship, ethics and integrity. Schools that complete all three sport seasons without a player being ejected/disqualified get awarded this certificate.

Fifteen Fonda-Fultonville girls from grades 6-8 participated in the 5th annual Tech Savvy Summit for Girls held May 24 at Fulton-Montgomery Community College.
Eleven Fonda-Fultonville students had their portfolios adjudicated at the the College of Graphic Art and Design of Russell Sage College on May 21.
